COVID-19 Sensitization

The spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is the most serious global health security threat in decades. More than 200,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported to WHO, and more than 8000 people have lost their lives. More than 80% of all cases are from two regions – the Western Pacific and Europe. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak, and we are deeply grateful to the thousands of healthcare workers who are on the front lines helping their communities.

Today we received a visit from Chipata City Council (Public Health Department), DEBS Officer and Environmental Health Inspector (Ministry of Health), who sensitized Grades 5, 6 and 7 on COVID-19.

- Signs and symptoms of COVID-19

- Hygiene aspect on hand washing with running water or using hand sanitizers
